The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Boards met in regular joint session Wednesday night.
The meeting began with reports from the elementary principals, then heard from Superintendent Josh Rasmussen before approving the consent agenda. Rasmussen tells Raccoon Valley Radio what the big topic was before they moved to action items on the agenda.
“Our discussion was around our whole grade sharing agreement, and it’s due for renewal, so both boards met. We have a whole grade sharing committee that met, and just reviewing it to make sure what’s in the agreement is how we move forward.”
The Boards then approved a modified allowable growth request for the at-risk/dropout prevention plan, and tabled a decision on the whole grade sharing agreement to allow the committee some more time to gather information. The AC Board then approved the series 2013 revenue bond resolution transfer, and the GC Board approved a nutrition fund transfer, the Winterset consortium agreement, consolidation of bank accounts, and tabled a decision on a high school gymnasium audio system to get some more information.
