It’s Heart of the Raccoon Bowling Conference action today vs. Nevada for the Greene County Rams. Coach John Woodford’s girls and boys’ squads host Nevada at 4 p.m. at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson and this is the last time either Greene County team bowls at home this season. The Rams are 2-5 on the girls’ side and the boys are 6-1 with a program beset six match winning streak in tact. The Cubs are 4-7 in girls’ bowling and 3-5 in boys.

The Greene County girls have been assigned to a Class 1A Region 3 State Qualifying Meet at Alley Bowl in Osceola on Monday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. Clarke Community is the host and in addition to Clarke and Greene County, others in the field are West Central Valley, Mount Ayr, Creston, Madrid, and Nevada.

Boys postseason bowling will be later and State Qualifying assignments have not yet been released.
