Due to today’s frigid weather forecast the Greene County at PCM basketball games were played last night in Monroe. The Class 3A number seven Mustangs won the girls’ game 63-18 and PCM took the boys’ contest by a 61-41 final. Greene County is now 5-11 in girls’ basketball and 3-12 on the boys’ side. PCM is 11-4 in boys’ basketball while the PCM girls improved to 15-1. Both varsity games were heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

No Greene County player reached as many as 10 points in either game. Senior Beca Anderson had nine for hte girls and junior Lincoln Schwander scored nine for the boys. Senior Kyra Naeve had 17 points for the PCM girls and 11 boys scored for the Mustangs, who were ed by senior Chase Wagaman with 12 points.
