
To wrap up the week for the Perry Jayettes basketball, the Jayettes went on the road to Roland-Story High School and fell to the Norsemen 67-26.
The Jayettes had a strong defensive start against the Norsemen, holding Roland-Story to only eight points for an 8-2 score going into the second quarter. The Norsemen then came out on fire, scoring 29 points in the second. Lily Myers, Karagyn Whelchel and Addison Perks all ended the night with five points, leading the charge for the Jayettes in the 67-26 loss.
The now 3-11 Jayettes return to non conference action at home on Monday, playing host to the West Central Valley Wildcats. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
