Success continues to follow the Perry Jayettes wrestling team as team captain and senior Ayden Erickson, was named Jayette wrestler of the week last week after an impressive undefeated week of contests.

Now at 27-4, Ayden continues to dominate on the mat and lead by example for the rest of the Jayettes squad. Erickson faced off against two ranked opponents this week and defeated both, adding some wind beneath her wings before the Heart of Iowa Conference tournament on Monday.

Both Perry wrestling teams prepare for the biggest meet of the season thus far, traveling to Saydel High School on Monday. The action is set to begin for conference wrestling, at 5pm.
