Those looking for an opportunity to travel can attend an online informational meeting this week.

Erin Milroy, president of the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce, says a Tuscan Getaway online informational session will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

She adds that community members can learn more about a travel opportunity to Italy for nine days, eight nights that includes hotels, meals, day trips and airfare from Des Moines.

“It will help support the chamber, but it’s just going to be a fun opportunity to kind of get away, escape our everyday life and check out the Italian culture, art and cuisine.” 

The Adel Chamber will sponsor the trip from October 25 through November 2, 2026. Milroy adds that early bird pricing will be offered if the trip is booked by March 29.
