The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will hear an update from Main Street Guthrie Center Director Becky Petersen, consider approving councilmember Erica Finster as the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee representative for the city, and discuss the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) coming through Guthrie Center on July 20th, with the city being the night stop for that day. They will then hear from City Clerk Kris Arrasmith on the budget calendar, and an update on a grant for the playground. The meeting begins at 6:30pm in Council Chambers at City Hall. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results for the meeting later in the week.
