Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is ready for 4-H activities to come into full swing.

Youth Coordinator Rachel Muir mentions that there’s still time for individuals to register for the new 4-H year, with the deadline being February 1st. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that another important part of that registration is knowing what club you want to be part of, and shares how to figure that out.

“If you go to our Guthrie County Extension website, under 4-H and Youth, there’s club resources, and in there it tells you all the club leaders and what clubs we have in Guthrie County.”

Muir mentions that individuals can also come into the Extension office in Guthrie Center during their business hours to receive help from her. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm. A link to the club resources page can be found here.
