
The 2026 Heart of Iowa Activities Conference Wrestling Tournament was postponed by cold temperatures on Friday, and will be held today. Action for girls and boys starts at 5 p.m. at Saydel High School in Des Moines.
Greene County will have its boys in action today while girls’ wrestling at Greene County High School has been approved for the 2026-27 school year. Coach Zach Beekman’s Rams will be among eight HOIAC schools in action. Grand View Christian (Des Moines) has its students interested in wrestling share with Des Moines East. West Marshall (State Center) is the defending team champion and the Trojans, along with the Rams and host school Saydel, will be joined by Perry, Nevada, PCM (Monroe), Roland-Story (Story City), and South Hamilton (Jewell).
