An event is set to take place on Saturday that will benefit Adel-Minburn-DeSoto Schools.

The ADM Athletic Booster Club is hosting the third annual ADM Gala on Saturday. Booster Club Vice President Gretchen Rickert says this year’s gala will feature a local venue at Country Lane Lodge in Adel, along with a local caterer, DJ and band. 

She adds that proceeds from the gala will support ADM athletes. 

“The proceeds all go back to our athletes. The number of things we have been able to purchase over the years, anything from new volleyball nets to supporting camps that they can attend, all of the equipment and various items like that.”

Ricket details that the booster club is able to support those athletes and teams because of the support from the community.

While tickets to Saturday’s gala are closed, Rickert encourages community members to keep an eye on the ADM Booster Club website for additional ways to support local athletes. She adds that other fundraising opportunities include a membership drive at the start of the school year along with a golf tournament in June.
