Perry and West Central Valley scored a combined 13 third quarter points, seeing the Jayettes lead 26-25 heading into the fourth.
To start the final period, Wildcat junior Addilyn Richter hit a huge three pointer in the right-hand corner to give West Central Valley a 28-26 advantage, then with the game knotted up at 37-37 with under two minutes remaining, Richter knocked down another three from the same corner to give the Wildcats a 40-37 lead with one minute and 16 seconds left.
Following a West Central Valley turnover, the Jayettes had one final opportunity for a go-ahead three with 16 seconds remaining, but was missed by Perry senior Karagyn Whelchel, then two clutch free throws from Richter secured the 44-43 win for the Wildcats.
