The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center FFA Chapter has been busy in recent weeks.

According to Chapter reporters Ava Sneller and Gracie Hodges, State Officer Kesley Greenslade and District Officer Lauren Comes visited the Chapter on January 8th, and discussed opportunities in FFA along with leading students in leadership-building activities. Sneller and Hodges share that they along with the other Chapter officers were amongst nearly 500 high school students from 88 different schools to visit the Iowa State Capitol Building to build character and promote citizenship, volunteerism and patriotism. Students were able to visit with legislators, and show off skills learned in agriculture classrooms. This was all part of the 41st annual Iowa FFA Legislative Symposium and FFA Day at the Capitol.
