During their January meeting, the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Boards discussed some equipment needs.
Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that a big discussion topic for the GC Board was the need to replace the audio system in the high school gymnasium. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about what was discussed as they decided to table the item.
“The speaker system that is in there has served its purpose for a long time, and (it’s) just time to update that. So just going to go ahead and get a little more information around warranty work and bring that back to the board next month.”
Rasmussen mentions that the Board did like the proposal brought forward by contacts of High School Principal Cody Matthewson. He adds that an equipment warranty wasn’t in the contract, so they were going to get more information before making that decision.
