Coach Zach Beekman’s Greene County wrestling team finished the home portion of the schedule last night by hosting CAM (Anita) and Manson-Northwest Webster in Jefferson at the high school. The Rams went 1-1 on the night with a 40-24 victory vs. CAM, followed by a 48-24  loss to M-NW. Greene County is now 2-15 in dual meets. There were only 13 contested matches in the two meets combined with the Rams going 5-8 in those.

Rams going 2-0 on evening were junior Brennan Jacobs at 106 lbs. via two forfeits, junior Jaron Jacobs (120) with a 17-2 technical fall and a forfeit, junior Nehemiah Hoyt (215) with a pair of falls, and junior Mason Haley (285) with a win by forfeit and another by fall.

Next up for the Rams is the ACGC Charger Invitational on Saturday in Guthrie Center.
