The West Central Valley Boys Wrestling Team participated in a quadrangular in Lenox on Tuesday, defeating Lenox 48-18 and Clarke 42-36, but fell 41-29 to Mount Ayr.
Key victories for the Wildcats in each of the matches included Drew Teague, at weight class 126, winning over Lenox’s Laine Brown with a 51-second fall, Tryce Dlouhy (175 lbs.) beat Lenox’s Mack Parrish with a fall (1 minute and 4 seconds), Cylir Joint (132 lbs.) defeated Clarke’s Jacob Kephas with a 37-second fall, Mason Fuller (138 lbs.) knocked off Clarke’s Bowen Page by a fall (1:28), and it was Daulton Corder (285 lbs.) beating Mount Ayr’s Jonathan Morales by a fall (5:12).
West Central Valley will return to the mat on Saturday in Guthrie Center for the Charger Invitational at AC/GC High School, starting at 9:30am. The full results from the Lenox Quadrangular can be found below.
