The Guthrie County Cattlemen are set to hold their annual banquet tonight at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds and Community Building.
Board member Brock Robinson shared details with Raccoon Valley Radio, stating that the event will begin with a social hour at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6:30pm. This year, the Cattlemen will be grilling ribeye steaks for the meal instead of having it catered. Following the dinner, the evening will feature speakers from the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association and the annual auction. According to Robinson, the meal will be provided for members of both the Iowa Cattlemen’s and Guthrie County Cattlemen’s Associations. Members of the public who wish to attend must pay $30 for the meal.
