In their new Behind the Badge informational series, the Stuart Police Department recently shared some case numbers from 2025.

According to the department, not including traffic violations, there were 208 criminal charges spanning 148 cases. Of these cases, only 15 remain currently open, providing the department with a clearance rate of 89.9 percent, which compared to national clearance rates which regularly fall well under 50 percent, shows just how hard Stuart’s police officers work to make sure the community is safe.
