The Panorama Basketball Teams are hitting the road tonight to Woodward to battle the Hawks in a West Central Conference game.

The Panther girls previous game was this past Tuesday, January 27th, picking up a 49-39 win against Madrid to climb to 6-12 on the season. Meanwhile, the Hawks are 12-5 overall and are on a five-game winning streak with victories over Madrid, Ogden, Perry, Pleasantville, and Grand View Christian. 

Panorama senior Morgan Crees, sophomore Ashley Crees, and junior Nerea Gimeno-Perez all tallied 11 points individually in the win against the Tigers, while Woodward-Granger senior Addie Lego is averaging 10.6 points per game on 32 percent shooting from the floor.

On the boys side, the Panthers are 1-17 through 18 games, coming off a loss to Woodward Academy on Friday, while the Hawks are 10-6 overall, winning 71-64 against Pleasantville on Friday. In the last competition, Panorama junior Cruz Crandell and senior Brayden Galvan combined for 27 points, while Woodward-Granger sophomore Cooper Finestead led the way with 22 points, followed by senior Vinny Sebastian’s 17 points in the victory over the Trojans.

The games are taking place at Woodward-Granger Middle School and High School tonight, beginning at 6pm with the girls and the boys to follow.
