The Perry City Council met in regular session on Monday.

Items on the agenda that were approved included essential and general purpose loan agreements, following two public hearings, an amendment to the Upper Story Housing Conversion Grant Contract, a proposal with DGR Engineering for professional services and a services agreement with Safe Building LLC.

Other items that were approved included first readings for three zoning ordinances, following public hearings. Two of the ordinances would change the zoning district from agricultural and light industrial to residential multi-family for two apartment proposals, with one located near Iowa Street and the other on 3rd Street.
