The AC/GC Chargers made the trip to Stuart to face off against the West Central Valley Wildcats, and came away with a girls 46-30 victory, and a boys 64-55 win.

The girls game started off with a good first half from the Chargers, outscoring the Wildcats 12-4 in the first quarter, and 12-5 in the second to go into the halftime break up 24-9. The third quarter was a big boon for West Central Valley though, as they outscored AC/GC 16-12 to close the gap to 36-25. A 10-5 final quarter brought the 46-30 victory for the Chargers. Senior Camdyn Richter led in scoring, with big nights underneath from junior Stella Largent on both the offensive and defensive, and from fellow juniors Olivia Mahaffey and Nora Langgaard on the defensive.

The boys game started slow, and stayed close the majority of the game. The first quarter ended with a 17-15 AC/GC lead, and an 11-7 second quarter boosted that to a 28-22 score at halftime. The Chargers outscored the Wildcats 16-11 in the third to go up 44-33, but were outscored 22-20 in the final quarter, finishing with the 64-55 victory. Senior Joe Crawford was the lead scorer on the night, and with fellow senior Tommy Skram out with a tweaked ankle, freshman Will Skram stepped into that starting spot, and put up 14 points on the night with the help of more than a few made three pointers.
