Perry Fine Arts will host a new group during a concert on Sunday afternoon.
Chairperson Cathy Clark says Coffeeshop Romance will perform for the first time on Sunday at the Perry Performing Arts Center. She adds that the four-piece band features pop, blues and indie music spanning multiple decades.
Clark details that the group’s songs feature unique arrangements and harmonies, serving as love letters to the music that has shaped and defined their lives.
She says the band consists of James and Lisa Webb, Tony Stevens (drums) and Sean Ryan (guitar and bass). James, Lisa and Tony are also members of Stranger Than Fiction, the popular cover band made up of local English teachers.
Clark says while the show is free to the public, free-will donations to Perry Fine Arts are accepted. The concert will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Perry Performing Arts Center, 1200 18th Street.
