An organization in Perry that gives out grants twice a year to local nonprofits has opened its spring granting cycle.

The Bock Family Foundation is a nonprofit group that supports other nonprofit organizations for religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes. Projects funded must be located in Dallas County with preference given to the four northwest townships of Dallas, Spring Valley, Lincoln and Washington.

Applications must be postmarked or delivered to the Foundation by March 1 at 1401 Willis Avenue, PO Box 487, Perry, Iowa.
