With the annual Bike Ride to Rippey this Saturday, there are a few eating options for participants and anyone else to enjoy in the small Greene County town.
According to Nancy Hanaman with the Rippey Lion’s Club, they will be serving the popular hot roast beef sundaes at the Rippey Community Building on Main Street. She notes that the main dish includes mashed potatoes, topped with roast beef, gravy and a cherry tomato for $10. Hanaman points out that they will also serve chili, dessert bars and brownies, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water.
Hanaman details that for the First United Methodist Church and the Rippey Baseball Commission, they are partnering together to have a baked potato bar with all the toppings for $10 at the church. She says they will also have chili, nachos, pies, dessert bars, bottled water, pop, gatorade and coffee. Hanaman states that there will be a beer concession stand setup as well. She adds that everything begins at 10am for those organizations.
