Gustavo Drahos, senior captain of the Perry Bluejays basketball team cemented his place in Bluejay basketball history, as Drahos tied for 10th place in career points for the Bluejays. Drahos tied John Palan of 1988 with 790 career points.

Gustavo, in his final year with the Bluejays looks to continue to find success leading the Perry offense, as Drahos averages 19.3 points per game with 347 points scored this season alone. Drahos looks to advance past the 10th place spot for career points for Perry as Gustavo just needs 21 points to tie for ninth place.

Now at 3-11 in conference play, the Bluejays look to remain ahead of Greene County and Saydel, but face off against the South Hamilton Hawks on Friday to wrap up the week. Heart of Iowa Conference play between the Bluejays and the Hawks is set to begin at 7:30pm following the girls contest.
