The final three games for the Greene County High School varsity basketball teams will take place in short order. The Rams go to State Center tomorrow night for a girl/boy doubleheader vs. West Marshall. After Saturday and Sunday off, it’s two more twin bills to finish off the regular season. Monday will see the Rams in non-conference action in Gowrie vs. Southeast Valley, followed by the final home games of the season on Tuesday in Jefferson vs. South Hamilton (Jewell), which are also the last home games of the season for Greene County.

Both the girls and boys have found victories tough to come by as of late. Coach Tori Ogden’s girls’ team has lost six in a row and is 5-14 overall while Coach Chris Nelson’s boys are 3-15 and have dropped five straight. Health has been an issue for both squads as injuries and illness have taken a toll.
