A non-profit organization in Grand Junction is hosting a fundraiser to help provide festivities for their event in late summer

Linda Hoffman is with the 50107 Summerfest Committee and says their fundraiser is taking place tomorrow from 11am-1pm at the Grand Junction Community Center. She details that a meal of chili, potato or chicken noodle soup, along with sandwiches, desserts and beverages will be served during that time for $8 for adults and $4 for kids ten and under. She adds that people can contact Jen Wilson at 515-729-3027 for a meal to be delivered to you.

Additionally, Hoffman states that there will also be a bake sale and a silent auction, which will end at 1pm. She points out that attendees can also play bingo from 11:30am-1pm, or until they run out of prizes. Cards are $5 each and are reusable. She adds that proceeds from Saturday’s fundraiser will be used for this year’s 50107 Summerfest event. 

She says that the committee also held a fundraiser with a bingo night at the 30 Yard Line where about 50 people participated and they contributed over $600.
