Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is ready for their February library programs.
Program Director Shelby Van Horn says that they will be holding the first one next week at the Stuart Public Library. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that their theme is Gifts from the Heart, and what they’ll do.
“Youth will be learning the importance of giving to others and also working on measuring. And they will be creating a gift in a jar to give to someone in their family.”
Van Horn mentions that the theme was chosen to go along with February having Valentine’s Day. She adds that the event at the Stuart Public Library will be Monday from 3-4pm.
