The Perry basketball teams wrap up the week on the road today, traveling to South Hamilton High School to face off against the Hawks in Heart of Iowa Conference play. Tip off for the girls is first at 6pm with the boys to follow at 7:30pm.

At 2-12 in conference play, the Jayettes look at an uphill battle, as South Hamilton enters tonight’s contest at 5-8 in conference play. Lily Myers continues to improve for the Jayettes, averaging 12.8 points per game alongside senior Karagyn Whelchel who has been shooting from long range more often, averaging 8.1 points per game.

The Bluejays also look for success tonight as Perry enters tonight’s contest at 3-11 in conference play. Perry looks to remain ahead of the Hawks in the conference, as South Hamilton sits at 1-12. Gustavo Drahos looks to keep momentum on his side, after tying for 10th in most career points with the Bluejays.

Heart of Iowa Conference double header basketball is set to begin with the girls first at 6pm with the boys to follow at 7:30 from South Hamilton High School.
