It’s Rolling Valley Activities Conference basketball tonight in Woodbine for the Paton-Churdan basketball teams. Coach Tom Kennedy’s girls are 3-16 and Coach Josh Cerveny’s boys have a 7-13 record. The Tigers are 8-10 in girls’ basketball and 11-7 on the boys’ side.

The Greene County Rams are also on the road tonight. It’s a trip to State Center to face the West Marshall Trojans for the Rams in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference girl/boy doubleheader. Coach Tori Ogden’s girls’ team is 5-14 and Coach Chris Nelson’s boys are 3-15. The Trojans are 8-11 in girls’ basketball and 5-13 on the boys’ side. Both varsity games tonight from State Center will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage begins around 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 o’clock and the boys to follow.
