Today is a fundraiser for a local non-profit organization in Grand Junction.

The 50107 Summerfest Committee is hosting an event with a meal, bingo, silent auction and bake sale to help raise money for this year’s town celebration event in late July/early August. 

Organizer Linda Hoffman says from 11am-1pm at the Grand Junction Community Center, people are invited to enjoy chili, potato or chicken noodle soup, along with sandwiches, desserts and beverages will be served during that time for $8 for adults and $4 for kids ten and under. 

Additionally, Hoffman states that there will also be a bake sale and a silent auction, which will end at 1pm. She points out that attendees can also play bingo from 11:30am-1pm, or until they run out of prizes. Cards are $5 each and are reusable.
