Although the season did not end the way junior Cate Erickson wanted or expected, competitive Cate already looks to prepare for another visit to the girls state wrestling tournament for her final season with the Jayettes next year.

Ever the competitor, the junior wrapped up her third campaign with the Jayettes putting up incredible numbers, with 36 individual wins and kept her losses in the single digits with two at the state tournament. Over her three year career with the Jayettes, Erickson has qualified for state twice in her sophomore and now junior season, and looks to wrap up her career with the Jayettes wrestling program next season, with another trip to state but with dreams of reaching the podium.
