The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Wrestling Team is preparing for the district meet in Norwalk on Saturday in hopes of qualifying individuals to the state competition next week.

The Tigers last competed on January 31st in Huxley for the Raccoon River Conference Meet, where ADM placed fifth with 147 points, trailing Carroll, Carlisle, Boone, and Bondurant-Farrar. Individually, Ethan Johnson, at weight 150, captured first place with a technical fall win over Boone’s Owen Thomas, followed by Paxton Sutter (106 lbs.), Grayson Sutter (138 lbs.), Kaden Smith (120 lbs.), Landon Moorhead (126 lbs.), and Tommy Harbison (285 lbs.) all tallied second place.

Saturday’s district competition will be held at Norwalk High School at 10am versus Pella, West Des Moines Valley, Waukee Northwest, Des Moines Lincoln, Oskaloosa, Ottumwa, Prairie, and Norwalk.
