The Perry School Board met in regular session on Monday.

Items on the agenda that were approved included the 2026/27 district calendar, special education plan committee for 2026 and school nutrition program notices.

Other items that were approved included policy reviews for chronic absenteeism and truancy, and anti-bullying/harassment and a budget guarantee resolution.

Board President Linda Andorf gave a reminder that a survey has been launched to gather input from the community to help identify desired personal and professional characteristics for a new superintendent. The survey will be open through February 15.

Andorf adds that in-person forums will be held at 3 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Perry Performing Arts Center. A representative from Grundmeyer Leader Services, who has been hired by the board to assist with the superintendent search, will be on hand.
