The Adel City Council met in regular session on Tuesday.

The council approved a request for donation for a Memorial for Fallen Law Enforcement Officers on the Raccoon River Valley Trail from Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante. The council committed $10,000 a year for two years to the project.

Items on the agenda that were approved included resolutions fixing a date for a meeting on the authorization of a loan agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $5,100,000 and three pre-annexation agreements.

Other items that were approved included resolutions for an intergovernmental agreement with Dallas County for the 288th trail base stabilization and paving project, updating aquatic center rates and season pass structure and setting a public hearing for proposed property tax amounts and new taxpayer statements.

The council then went into closed session to discuss union negotiations.
