
The Perry Jayettes basketball team celebrated senior night on Tuesday, during their last home game of the season against the Grand View Christian Thunder. Karagyn Whelchel lead in the time in points with 14 in the 69-34 loss to the Thunder.
As the lone senior on the Jayettes, Whelchel was recognized after the game for her career with the Jayettes. In her final game of the regular season at home, Karagyn lead the charge for Perry, with nine of her 14 points coming from three point range.
Whelchel and the Jayettes wrap up the regular season on Thursday, traveling to Webster City High School to face off against the Lynx. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm from Webster City.
