The Perry Public Library is encouraging families to see what they have to offer through a special event on Saturday.

Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper says they are celebrating Take Your Child to the Library Day from 10:30-11:30 a.m. She adds this is a way for families to learn more about the library’s services and to become regular library users together.

Pieper invites families to attend the Sweetheart Storytime Party for Valentine’s stories, crafts and extra sweet games and treats. She explains that families can learn more about the library’s youth programs and can sign up their children for a library card. 

Pieper details that the event is free and no registration is required.
