The three schools in Guthrie County attended the Iowa High School Speech Association’s State Large Group Speech Contest Saturday.
Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center had 13 groups compete, and eight received a Division I Rating, with five getting straight I’s, while the remaining five received Division II Ratings. There were also 16 individuals from AC/GC who will attend the IHSSA All-State Festival, with one group to perform while the others are non-competing groups. From Panorama, four teams made the trip, with one receiving straight Division I Ratings, one receiving an overall Division I Rating, and two receiving overall Division II Ratings. Finally, one group traveled from West Central Valley, and received a Division II Rating. A full list of groups and their ratings can be found below] pp.
