The Stuart People Active for Library Service (PALS) are holding a fundraiser Friday.

PALS member Carol Brewer says they are hosting their second Valentine’s Goodie Box sale, a fundraiser where they box up donated baked goods, and offer them at a price for the public to purchase. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they do need those willing to donate baked goods to bring them in before the sale begins.

“For those listeners who might be bringing us some goodies, you can bring your cookies or bars or candy to the library on Friday morning between 9 and 9:30am. And the reason for that is that we have to have the goods there before we can start filling the boxes. Or if that isn’t going to work for you, you may bring your baked goods or whatever to the library on Thursday.”

Brewer mentions that the sale will take place from noon to 4:30pm, with boxes available for $10 each. She adds that all proceeds benefit the library, and that for those interested in buying a box, they can only accept cash or checks.
