The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball Teams will participate in their final regular season doubleheader tonight on the road in Carlisle.
The Tigers are coming off victories against Boone in Adel on Tuesday, with the girls winning 54-12, and the boys took care of business at 73-41. In the girls game, ADM senior Ellis Smith charged the way with 12 points, followed by 9 points apiece for junior Bella Spreacker and sophomore Aubrey Noring.
The Tigers have won seven games in a row to add to a 14-6 overall record, and are facing the top-team in the Raccoon River Conference of the Wildcats, who are 20-0 on the season, being led by senior Macy Comito averaging 20 points per game. Carlisle beat ADM 58-34 in Adel on January 13th.
On the boys side, Tiger seniors Hudson Lorensen, Hudson Shull, and Hayden Dohlman combined for 51 points in their win versus the Toreadors on Tuesday. ADM has won its past six games with victories over Winterset, Bondurant-Farrar, Ballard, Indianola, Gilbert, and Boone. The Tigers come in tonight’s matchup with a 17-2 record, as Carlisle is sitting at 7-12 on the year. ADM took the first contest by a final score of 80-44.
The games will be played at Carlisle High School tonight, as the girls begin at 6pm, and the boys will follow afterwards. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
