Two legislators will be holding Legislative Coffees in Greene and Guthrie Counties tomorrow.
Representative for District 47 Carter Nordman and Senator for District 24 Jesse Green will be making stops in Jefferson and Panora. Green shares why meetings like this are important to hold.
“For one, it’s just great to humanize everything and see people face to face and it creates a better environment for having some of these conversations. I love to hear what’s on people’s minds because it allows you the ability to see what issues are facing those communities. So I have forums in Boone, down in Guthrie County, as well as I go once in a while up in Fort Dodge.”
Green mentions that different communities have different issues, and going into these communities like this allows him and other legislators to identify and work to alleviate them. Nordman and Green will be at Panora Fiber in Panora at 9am, then head to the Jefferson Gardens in Jefferson to meet with constituents at 11am.
