A two-vehicle crash in Redfield resulted in one person being transported to the hospital on Thursday.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Patrick Woodward of Redfield was traveling in a vehicle and passing through the intersection of Jefferson Street on Clark Street, when Craig Pote, also of Redfield, pulled into the intersection and collided with Woodward’s vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office states that Dallas County Emergency Medical Services inspected all passengers in the Woodward vehicle, and one was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. The damage to the Woodward vehicle was estimated at $8,000, while damage to the Pote vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Pote was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
