Perry High School’s Vocal Music Department is gearing up for a Valentine’s Day-themed event tomorrow.
Vocal Director Jenn Hillman says the department will present the annual Jukebox Variety Show at 7 p.m. in the Perry Performing Arts Center. She adds that this year’s show will feature a “Vintage Valentine” theme with a variety of love songs, from “Stupid Cupid” to “Moon River,” “Chapel of Love” and more.
Perry High School choirs will perform, along with Perry Middle School singers. High school students will also sing solos and duets.
Hillman details that the middle and high school choirs will be joined on stage by Kid’s Camp participants. Students in grades TK through 12 will perform “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
She encourages community members to attend tomorrow night’s concert as the students have been working hard to prepare memorable songs for the Jukebox Variety Show.
Admission is $6 and all proceeds will benefit PHS Music. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, with card only. Hillman adds that attendees can also bring cash to vote for their favorite solo/duet acts.
