An annual event is returning today in Perry that features sweet treats.
The Perry Chamber of Commerce will host the 23rd Annual Chocolate Walk from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says this year’s event will feature 18 stops.
“(It’s) grown a lot over the years. It used to be about 100, then 125, 150, now it’s well, we better prepare for 200 chocolates so that everyone can make sure that they buy a ticket. They get their passport to go around and get free chocolate at each location. We have 18 businesses participating this year. Give yourself plenty of time between travel and shopping and enjoying the chocolate to experience the event.”
She adds that attendees can also get their passport stamped at each stop to be entered into a grand prize drawing for Perry Chamber Bucks. Completed passports can be dropped off at the Perry Public Library or at your last stop.
Tickets are still available for purchase today at participating businesses.
