Class 3A third rated Des Moines Christian was a regional basketball tournament winner on Saturday night in Urbandale vs. Greene County by a 78-13 final. Coach Tori Ogden’s Rams end the season with a 6-17 record while the Lions move on at 19-3. The six wins are the most for the Rams in Coach Ogden’s five seasons leading the program.

The Rams trailed 24-0 before getting the board late in the first quarter and were down 46-6 at the half.  Leading the Rams in scoring with seven points was senior Becca Anderson. Junior Makenna Ebersole added four points with the final two by sophomore Faith Jaimes-Diaz.

Seniors for the Rams are Anderson, Kaycee Pittman, Sophia Price, and Jennifer Robbins.
