Coach John Woodford’s boys’ bowlers from Greene County High School have a Class 1A State Qualifying Meet in Carroll today starting at 10 a.m. The Rams are 7-1 in dual meets with a season high score of 3,019 pins. Vinton-Shellsburg is also going to be at Carroll today and the Vikings are the 2025 State Champions and they have rolled up a season high of 3,315 pins. Other teams are Starline Lanes in Carroll today are Carroll, Kuemper Catholic (Carroll), Harlan Community, MMCRU (Remsen), OABCIG (Ida Grove), and West Central Valley (Stuart).

Only the team champion and the top four individuals advance to the State Tournament in Waterloo next week.

The Rams are led by Heart of the Raccoon individual Champion in junior Chase Fecher. He rolled a 683 three game series last Monday to become the new bowling conference’s first individual champion.
