Private family services for Carolyn A. Taphorn, 86, of Carroll, will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll.  Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

   In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Anthony Hospice, St. Anthony Nursing Home, or the Carroll Animal Rescue.

    Carolyn is survived by two daughters: Cindy Jorgensen (Doug) of Carroll and Christy Snyder of Carroll (Shannon Railsback of Odebolt and his children Sadie Reisz (Jeff) and Keaton Railsback); a son-in-law Scott Strader of Littleton, CO; three grandchildren: Tasha Minnehan (Jon), Tacie Clark (Jimmy), and Halie Renze (Zach); seven great-grandchildren: Kamryn, Tucker, Axel, Wyatt, Emmett, Isla, and Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
