Four individuals from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Wrestling Team have advanced to the state wrestling tournament, which is set to take place later this week.

The Tigers competed in the Class 3A District 8 State Qualifying Meet in Norwalk this past Saturday, where ADM tallied 118.5 points for fourth place. The top three individuals in each weight qualify for the state tournament. Of those, Tigers’ Paxton Sutter in weight class 106, Grayson Sutter in weight class 138, and Ethan Johnson in the 150 pound weight division all captured first place. Also, Henry Krug for weight class 165 garnered a spot after getting third place.

ADM will participate in the Class 3A section, which begins Wednesday at 4pm over at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry live coverage for the tournament.
