Two members from the Panorama Boys Wrestling Team will be making an appearance at the state tournament this week in Des Moines.

The Panthers competed in the Class 1A District 7 State Qualifying Meet in Ogden this past Saturday, accumulating 57.5 total points for eighth place overall. The top two individuals from each weight division advanced to the state tournament, and for Panorama, that included Austin Wagner in weight class 144, and Blake Schwartz in weight class 165, who both notched first place finishes.

The Panthers will participate in the Class 1A section, which begins on Thursday at 9am inside the Casey’s Center in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry live coverage for the tournament.
