Three individuals from the West Central Valley Boys Wrestling Team will be going to the state tournament in Des Moines this week.

The Wildcats participated in the Class 1A District 7 State Qualifying Meet in Ogden on Saturday, racking up 114.5 points for fourth place overall. The top two boys in each weight division moved on to the state tournament, and for West Central Valley that included Tyler Peugh at weight class 113, Drew Teague at weight class 126, and Tryce Dlouhy in weight class 175.

The Wildcats will compete in the Class 1A section, which starts on Thursday at 9am inside the Casey’s Center in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry live coverage for the tournament.
