The next Ag Coffee with Greene County ISU Extension is later this week.

Greene County Extension Director Jeff Lamoureux says on Friday from 9:30-11am at the Extension Office there will be an informal discussion about “Farmland Security.” He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this topic is fitting for everyone, not just for the agriculture community and it will be led by Extension Field Agriculture Engineer Tony Mensing.

“Kind of talk about, if you need cameras, some other things, ways to keep your property secure. So I think it’s an important topic and probably a topic that’s relevant and what’s going on with some of the technology right now. Tony’s done a number of these Ag Coffees for us over the years and he does a really good job, and I think this will be no exception to that. He’ll do a real good job of talking about that farmland security.”

Lamoureux adds that there is no pre-registration required and it is free, due to the sponsorship of Landus Cooperative.
